It happens often: a previous web designer registered the domain in their own name, or nobody remembers the login. Your registrar can tell you who the registrant is. If it is not you, ask the person who registered it to transfer it to you; we will help you work through the registrar's process.
First we build your new site as a private preview, using your current content. You check it and ask for changes. When you approve, we set up redirects for your old pages and point your domain at the new site. Only once it is live and working do you cancel your old provider, after checking your contract for any notice period.
