Terms of service
Last updated 23 October 2026. Raptor Sites is based in Sydney, NSW.
These terms are the agreement between your business ("you") and Raptor Sites ("we", "us") for our website service. They apply when you accept a free preview, and again when you approve your website to go live. Our service is for businesses. Please read them together with our privacy policy. If anything is unclear, email hello@raptorsites.com before you sign up.
1. The free preview
- A preview is free and you are under no obligation to subscribe. We send it within 48 hours of receiving your completed onboarding form. If the form is missing something we need, the 48 hours start once we have it.
- Until you subscribe, the preview's design and code belong to us, and we may take it down at any time.
- Nothing goes live until you approve it. Your preview includes two rounds of changes before launch.
2. Packages
Prices are per month, in Australian dollars, with no GST charged:
| Package | Price | Small content updates | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
| Get Online | $20 a month | 1 a quarter | |
| Win Local | $50 a month | 1 a month | Priority email |
| Grow Online | $80 a month | 2 a month | Priority email |
- What each package includes is described on our homepage. The description at the time you subscribe forms part of these terms.
- A small content update is a change to existing text or images on one page. Unused updates do not roll over. Larger changes, new pages beyond your package, or new features are quoted before we start, and you decide whether to go ahead.
- Not included: custom web applications or complex online stores; custom booking or payment systems; unlimited design revisions or content changes; ongoing advertising management; guaranteed search rankings; professional photography or a complete brand identity; third-party subscriptions or transaction fees.
3. Billing
- There is no upfront fee. Billing starts on the day your website goes live, monthly in advance. We send an invoice for each payment (a tax invoice once we are registered for GST).
- If a payment fails, we will tell you and give you 14 days to fix it. If it is still unpaid after that, we may take your website offline until it is paid. We will not delete it for non-payment without first giving you a further 14 days' written notice and the chance to take an export.
- Third-party costs are separate and paid by you: your domain name, business email, and any booking, payment or software platforms you choose to use.
- We may change our prices with at least 30 days' written notice. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it starts, at no cost.
4. Cancelling
- There is no lock-in and no notice period. You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@raptorsites.com.
- Your first month is non-refundable. If you cancel part-way through a later month, we refund the unused part of that month.
- Before we take your website down, we email you a full export of it, with every page, image and piece of content, at no charge. We delete the website within 24 hours after sending the export.
- You may keep using the exported files for your own business, hosted anywhere, for as long as you like. You may not resell our designs or code as a template or product.
5. If we end the service
- We may end your service if you seriously breach these terms, for example by publishing content that breaks section 7, and do not fix it within 14 days of us telling you. If the content is unlawful or harmful, we may take it down straight away and tell you why.
- If we decide to stop offering the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any fees paid for time after the service ends, and send you your export.
6. Your domain and content
- Your domain name stays registered in your name. We connect it to your website and will help you point it elsewhere if you leave.
- You own the content you give us. You let us use, copy, adapt and publish it to build, host and promote your website while you are a client. We will not use your website in our own marketing without your permission.
- You confirm that you have the right to use everything you give us (text, photos, logos, reviews), and that the claims about your business on your website, such as licences, qualifications and prices, are accurate.
- We own the designs, templates and code we use to build websites, apart from your content.
7. Acceptable use
Your website must not contain anything unlawful, misleading or deceptive, anything that infringes someone else's rights, adult content, or anything that could harm visitors or our systems. You must not use it to send spam.
8. Enquiries, lead alerts and other services
- Enquiry alerts are sent by email through our email provider. We take care to deliver every enquiry, but we cannot guarantee that a third-party email service will deliver every alert on time, so please check your enquiries regularly.
- We handle the enquiries your website receives on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for meeting your own privacy obligations to your customers.
- Booking, payment and other third-party platforms connected to your website are covered by those providers' own terms.
9. Search results
We build every website on sound search foundations, and some packages include ongoing search work. No one can honestly guarantee rankings, traffic or a number of enquiries, and we do not.
10. Hosting and support
- We host, secure and back up your website, and work to keep it online. It may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems with the internet or our providers. When that happens, we fix it as quickly as we reasonably can.
- We take reasonable care to protect your website and the information it handles, using reputable providers and keeping software up to date. No website or online service can be made completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that your website will never be attacked, breached, defaced, taken offline or lose data. If a security incident affects your website, we will tell you promptly and work to restore it.
- Support is by email at hello@raptorsites.com. We reply within 24 hours, with priority for higher packages as listed above.
11. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy you have under that law.
12. Our liability
- Where the law allows, if our services do not meet a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
- Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for loss of profits or other indirect losses.
- We are not liable for loss to the extent it was caused by your content, your actions, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by a cyber attack, security breach, malware or data loss that happens despite our taking reasonable care, including one that starts with a third-party provider such as our hosting, database or email services. This does not limit your rights under section 11.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change could disadvantage you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then at no cost. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
14. Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, email us first and we will work to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, and the courts of New South Wales can hear any dispute.
