Free DMARC check

DMARC check. Make it harder to send email as you.

DMARC tells Gmail, Outlook and other providers what to do with emails that claim to be from your domain but fail SPF and DKIM. Enter your domain to check yours and get a starter record if it's missing. It checks MX, SPF and DKIM at the same time.

What it looks at

Whether you have a DMARC record
A TXT record at _dmarc on your domain that starts with v=DMARC1.
Your policy
p=none only monitors, p=quarantine sends failing email to spam, and p=reject blocks it. Most businesses start at none and tighten it later.
Whether SPF and DKIM are in place
DMARC relies on them. A strict DMARC policy with no SPF or DKIM behind it can stop your own emails arriving.
The rest of your email setup
Your mail servers, SPF and DKIM are in the same report, so you can see everything that is still missing.

Questions

What is a good starter DMARC record?
v=DMARC1; p=none; added as a TXT record at _dmarc on your domain. Once SPF and DKIM pass reliably, you can move to p=quarantine.
Will DMARC stop my own emails?
Not with p=none, which only monitors. A stricter policy can block your own emails if a service you use, like a booking system, is not covered by SPF or DKIM, so check those first.
Do small businesses need DMARC?
It helps. It makes it harder for someone to send fake invoices that look like they came from you, and it is one of the records email providers look for.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up. We only read public DNS records and do not store your domain.
